Liberty Global Launches new ‘Liberty BLUME’ brand

Liberty Global’s world-class tech-enabled solutions now available to third-party clients, building on $100+ million annual revenue base.

London, United Kingdom – February 25, 2025

Liberty Global Ltd. (“Liberty Global” or the “Company”) (NASDAQ: LBTYA, LBTYB and LBTYK) is launching of a new brand, Liberty Blume, specialising in the delivery of world-class tech-enabled business solutions to external clients.

The launch of the Liberty Blume brand – formerly known as Liberty Financial Services – marks the first time that Liberty Global has offered its solutions to third-party clients operating outside its core sector of telecommunications. With over 20 years of experience and currently generating over $100 million in annual revenue serving Liberty Global Group businesses, the re-branded entity provides solutions across four categories: business, procurement, financial as well as circular services – a new function that provides ewaste solutions like repairing, refurbishing and re-using products, for businesses to reduce their imprint on the planet and promote a circular economy.

Liberty Blume’s expansion includes the opening of a new headquarters in King’s Cross, London from March – providing direct transport links to a new customer-facing office in Leeds. The Leeds office will be located in City Square, a central location adjacent to Leeds Station and close to an existing site nearby in Bradford. Liberty Blume’s presence in Leeds and Bradford underscores Liberty Blume’s commitment to building a tech and financial talent hub in West Yorkshire, creating opportunities and fostering innovation in the region.

The new locations in London and Leeds add to an established footprint that includes 750 people across offices in Bradford, Sheffield, Reading, Amsterdam and Dublin.

The company offers four types of end-to-end tech-powered solutions:

  • Business: Back-office services delivering value creation across finance, HR, legal, construction and systems management
  • Procurement: Tailored procurement services through contract portfolio management, managed services and full outsourcing across telco, IT and business operations
  • Financial: Strategic working capital solutions spanning receivables/payables financing, consumer/commercial insurance, and business/consumer lending
  • Circular: End-to-end solutions for reducing environmental impact through tech repurposing and hardware life extension

Charlie Bracken, Chief Financial Officer, Liberty Global, comments: “Liberty Blume represents an exciting development in Liberty Global’s journey. Our experience in managing large-scale, complex operations for millions of telecom customers translates well to other sectors facing similar challenges in terms of optimizing efficiency, driving digitalization and enhancing customer experiences. By offering a blend of human expertise and cutting-edge technology, the company aims to free its clients from the burden of routine day-to-day operations, allowing them to focus on core business strategies to unlock future growth.”

Joe Gallagher, Chief Operating & Commercial Officer, Liberty Blume, adds: “At Liberty Blume, we’re not just offering services – we’re providing solutions as a pathway to transformation. We know there’s a growing demand for efficient back-office and cutting-edge digital solutions across a wide range of industries, and we’re committed to helping our customers achieve not just cost savings, but true value creation that position them for long-term success.”

A launch campaign for Liberty Blume will commence at the end of March. For more information about Liberty Blume and the transformative business solutions it offers, please visit www.libertyblume.co.
